06/21/2005: "Come Hungry!"
I had no idea that PETA has a roster of "veg-friendly" ballparks. The fact that Philadelphia, home of the delicious Schmitter, is on the list... well, I guess the vegetarians don't eat that one. And the Come Hungry Pirates of Pittsburgh have made the list as well, which encourages all their fans to emulate the team and live up to the Come Hungry slogan, including vegetarians.
No word on whether this also applies to their nonexistent minor league affiliate, the Come Hungry Pirates of the San Fernando Valley. (Cue "Tonight Show" theme.)
