I'm still alive and well and all that, just haven't been updating here lately.
Just thought I'd share what I've seen this season in baseball clubhouses...
The Yankees don't have a visible TV in their locker room. The Mets have a couple, and the one time I was in there, they had some boxing match on Fox Sports Net.
Here's what other teams have been watching before games, at least that I've seen...
Boston Red Sox: SportsCenter
Houston Astros: Jim Rome Is Burning
Tampa Bay Devil Rays: VH1's The Fabulous Life
Texas Rangers: Rudy
I got sucked in by Rudy while waiting to talk to a member of the Rangers who declined to be interviewed. But I did get to catch a funny moment, when whoever was sitting next to Rangers outfielder Kevin Mench started quietly chanting "Mench! Mench! Mench!" as the fans in the movie chanted Rudy's name.
