04/01/2005: "Pictures 47: Birthday Walk"
Wednesday was my birthday (whoo!) and the meteorological aspect of the day was lovely, so I went for a walk around the greater Astoria/Long Island City area and took some pictures. (The rest of the day was excellent as well, but that has nothing to do with these pictures.)
That's nice.
That's the same car lot. I guess "good people with good credit" is included in "everybody."
Where's Salvation Army used cars? (Cue Tonight Show theme...)
The school (which accompanies the church) for Catholic vampires.
If it were that easy, I'd buy all my Lotto tickets at this place.
And if you wonder why I haven't written much for the site lately, well, there's the latest Edge Boston writing on Byung-Hyun Kim, or team-by-team breakdowns of the AL Central and NL Central in the Daily News. There's more to come, but you can always keep tabs on my professional endeavors in writing here.
